There’s tons of exciting news coming for this month here at EMDC. Here’s what you should know!
KRISPY KREME
Our Krispy Kreme fundraiser was a huge success! Come pick up your doughnuts and coffee Thursday October 6th from 4:30-8:00pm at the Independent Baptist Church in Towanda next to PENN-DOT. (109 Cherry St, Towanda)
OBSERVATION WEEK
We’ll be having our first observation week of the year October 17-21st. We invite families to come watch the class experience first hand with seating in studio. Please keep in mind that space is limited, especially with our larger classes.
BRING A FRIEND WEEK
What’s better than having a love for dance? How about sharing it with your favorite friends! Pick up an invitation to share with your child’s friends and invite them to come dance party with us the week of October 24-28th. Liability waivers must be turned in for any guests joining us (included on the invitation or available through our website). Please note there is a limit of one friend per dancer per class. We can’t wait to share our passion for dance with you!
UPCOMING EVENTS
The competition team has been hard at work organizing fundraisers to help offset their performance fees for this year’s events! Come support them at these upcoming events:
Bake Sales! October 8th at both the Dushore Fall Festival and Tractor Supply in Wysox. There’s also Tag Day events at Tractor Supply, and the Wysox Old General Store Dandy the same day.
There’s lots of competition team fundraisers coming up! If you’re part of the team be sure to check the registration folder regularly. Currently there are sign ups available for a babysitting day on November 26th, and a Polar Express Pajama Party night on December 10th. We’re organizing a basket raffle as well to be held at our Nutcracker performance on December 4th. If you aren’t a competition family, but would still like to contribute we’d love your help with baskets for our raffle! And keep an eye out for registration forms for your kids to participate in the fun events our dancers will be putting on!
STUDENT of the WEEK
This year your EMDC teachers are taking turns selecting one of their students to be spotlighted as our Student of the Week. We look for kids who have good attendance, come to class with a great attitude, and those are working hard to be their personal best. In the month of September we were proud to honor the following dancers: Hannah Ely, Owen Brown, Caitlyn Wurzler, Kinslee Keeney, and Aleecia Seeley. Thanks for giving your all when it comes to your time in studio. We're thrilled to have each of you as part of our studio family.
